Mills Tavern Earns Judge’s Choice Award at Taste of Rhode Island Summer Showcase 2026

Mills Tavern is proud to announce that we were awarded the prestigious Judge’s Choice Award at the Taste of Rhode Island Summer Showcase 2026, one of the state’s premier culinary events celebrating Rhode Island’s vibrant food and beverage community.

The annual showcase brought together some of Rhode Island’s most talented chefs, restaurants, and culinary artisans for an evening dedicated to exceptional food, creativity, and hospitality. Selected by a panel of judges from among dozens of participating restaurants, the Judge’s Choice Award recognizes outstanding culinary execution, flavor, presentation, and overall guest experience.

Leading the award-winning effort was Executive Chef Cara Marie Mourning, whose passion for seasonal ingredients, refined technique, and creative approach to cuisine continues to elevate the Mills Tavern dining experience.
