Mills Tavern will host a Gilded Age Afternoon Tea at the Tavern on Sunday, September 28th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Step back in time for an elegant Gilded Age-inspired tea service featuring a thoughtfully crafted menu that captures the charm and sophistication of the era. Guests will enjoy premium teas from Harney & Sons alongside an artful selection of sweet and savory bites from Executive Chef Ed Bolus and Executive Pastry Chef Samantha Del Arroyo.
Sweet treats will include assorted Macaron, Zucchini Cake with white chocolate-cream cheese cremeux, Millionaire’s Shortbread, and White Chocolate Mousse with strawberries, vanilla pound cake, and lavender-mascarpone cream. Freshly-baked scone flavors will feature Apricot & White Chocolate and Rosemary & Cheddar with Maple Glaze, served with lemon curd, Devonshire cream, and blueberry jam. Savory sandwiches will include Lobster Rolls, Roast Beef and Brie, and Almond Butter & Peach Jam.
