Bristol Resident Kate Turner Promoted to New Role

Mill’s Tavern, located at 101 North Main Street in Providence, is pleased to announce that Bristol resident Kate Turner has been named General Manager.  Kate has served at Mill’s in various capacities since 2016, most recently as Assistant General Manager.  In her new position, she will be responsible for the management of all front-of-house and back-of-house operations; coordinating and executing special events; and engaging her passion for wine with the curation of Mill’s wine list, which has earned the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence annually since 2014.

Prior to joining Mill’s Tavern, Kate was the Sales Manager at Sage Cellars in Warren, overseeing the sales team, assisting with marketing and vendor relations, and maintaining a portfolio of key accounts.  She also served as Food & Beverage Director at the Carnegie Abbey Club in Portsmouth, and was Assistant General Manager and Banquet Manager at DeWolf Tavern in Bristol for seven years, overseeing the day-to-day operations, marketing and advertising, and special events.
